Censuses for years 1841, 1851, 1861, 1871, 1881, 1891 and 1901. ROLLR has copies of each on disk. Some, but not all, can
also be found in Oakham at the Rutland County Museum. Persons enumerated are listed by street location, but not
more precisely because postal numbering did not then exist.

Manorial Court Rolls
There were two manors at Uppingham covering about half the properties in the town.
- The Preston with Uppingham Manor Acc ref DE 6105
- The Rectory Manor of Uppingham. Private collection
Some of the volumes of court rolls have been summarised, including giving locations for properties and information
about the parties. Copies are at ROLLR’s Local Studies Section (Periodicals and Publications card index) and at the
Rutland County Museum.

A number of individual properties have been studied in detail by the former ULHG. Copies have been placed at both
ROLLR and RCM.
